WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of projects in areas such as physical security, structured cabling, and IT infrastructure. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between MGT and customers throughout project implementation. 
  • Provide overall direction for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards. 
  • Plan and manage projects related to physical security, surveillance, access control, intrusion systems, structured cabling, and related IT systems. 
  • Lead internal and external governance meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting meeting minutes. 
  • Define project scope, objectives, risks, milestones, and implementation strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). 
  • Manage communication and coordination between sales, engineering, installation, and customer teams. 
  • Oversee procurement, asset management, and logistics—including chain of custody. 
  • Monitor quality control, validate completion of defined scope, and ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Resolve operational and technical issues, using a consultative and customer-first approach. 
  • Create, maintain, and archive up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Mentor Junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators and support development of best practices and tools. 
  • Evaluate and document lessons learned post-project for continuous improvement. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 

  • Three (3) or more years of experience of project management experience required in physical security, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure. 
  • Certification: CAPM or PMP required within 1 year of hire 
  • Education: Trade School, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
