Job description

Job Purpose
The Interim Strategic Representative is a high-impact, temporary sales role focused on sustaining momentum and closing six and seven-figure enterprise deals during a period of FMLA coverage. This veteran seller will immediately inherit high-value accounts, drive pursuit strategy, and manage complex negotiations, ensuring revenue continuity and account health. This is a four-month contract position requiring full-time capacity, with the potential to convert to a full-time, permanent role based on individual performance.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead deal strategy, including packaging, pricing, negotiation, and close planning.
  • Protect and advance existing pipeline; ensure seamless continuity for high-value accounts.
  • Own contract redline coordination with Legal.
  • Escalate nonstandard terms to the VP, Partnerships, for final approval.
  • Execute strategic client meetings and stakeholder management.
  • Performance in this interim role will be the primary factor in evaluating a potential transition to a permanent strategic position within the organization.
Qualifications amp; Skills
Qualifications include:
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a track record of closing $500k+ deals in complex event or media landscapes.
  • Proven ability to ramp quickly (within 2 weeks) and manage complex sales cycles without extensive onboarding.
  • Expert-level negotiation skills with comfort owning pricing, packaging, and deal approvals.
  • High judgment, accountability, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional needs.
  • Exceptional CRM discipline and forecast rigor.
