Job Overview

We are seeking hardworking and reliable Cable Technicians to support a large-scale Data Center Build-Out Project. This is a long-term opportunity with a minimum project duration of one year. Technicians will work both inside and outside the facility installing structured cabling and supporting data center infrastructure construction.

Candidates must be willing to travel to Ohio or Iowa for 3-6 weeks of paid training, with a $50/day per diem provided.

Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:45 AM - 3:45 PM
  • Potential transition to 10-hour shifts as project demands increase

Cable Technician I Responsibilities
  • Pull and route Cat6 and low-voltage cabling.
  • Assist experienced technicians with installation activities.
  • Transport, organize, and manage materials on-site.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Climb ladders and work in active construction environments.
  • Install cable tray, wireway, bus duct, switches, receptacles, and related devices.
  • Build telecommunications closets including:
    • Backboards
    • Racks
    • Patch panels
    • Cross-connects
    • Fiber optic hardware
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling.
  • Complete basic terminations including 110 and 66 blocks and patch panels.
  • Assist with conduit installation and wire pulling activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all site safety requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
