Bus Operator - Driver

If you are looking for a stable, well-paying job where you will be driving and get to travel, look no further! Indian Trails is hiring a full-time Bus Operator - Driver in Kalamazoo, Owosso, and Romulus, MI. Get paid to drive, meet new people, and provide excellent service while operating one of the newest and largest fleets in Michigan. Start at $18/hour during training and $24/hour after training, with great benefits like:

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR BUS OPERATOR - DRIVER

THE SCHEDULE:

Your schedule will vary based on routes and charter trips. Some days you'll drive a regular bus route, while others you may take groups on charter trips. Training lasts 4 - 6 weeks, and we'll pay you while you earn your CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements, if you don't already have them.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Bus Operator - Driver, you'll ensure passengers get to their destinations safely and comfortably. You'll drive different routes, stay on schedule, and provide friendly customer service. You'll greet passengers, help with luggage, and create a smooth and enjoyable ride. Some days may involve regular bus routes, while others include charter trips across the state or beyond. If you're on a multi-day trip, we'll cover your hotel and meals.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • CDL (A or B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Enjoyment of traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people
  • Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers
