Main Duties & Responsibilities
Intertech Plastics is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Denver. If you enjoy solving complex manufacturing challenges, optimizing injection molding processes, and working with cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll lead process development for new and existing products using scientific molding principles while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You'll work alongside engineering, production, quality, tooling, and customers to develop robust, repeatable molding processes that deliver exceptional results.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and validate injection molding processes using scientific molding techniques.
  • Establish and document robust molding parameters for new product launches.
  • Perform process audits to ensure compliance, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Analyze production performance and troubleshoot process issues to improve quality and output.
  • Support new tooling launches, process validations, and production transfers.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for molding and auxiliary equipment.
  • Coach and mentor Process Technicians on best practices and scientific molding principles.
  • Partner with Quality, Production, Tooling, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and increase Overall
  • Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Support manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, including cleanroom environments.

On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, CO location.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of scientific molding and decoupled molding principles.
  • Experience with process development, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ISO manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
RJG Master Molder I and/or II certification.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training.
Leadership or mentoring experience within a manufacturing environment.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $100,000 - $107,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our recruiting team during the interview process.
