Job description

Virtua Medical Group, a physician-led organization of over 1,800 clinicians and growing, is looking to add a Breast Nurse Practitioner to our well-established breast surgery team.
This is a full-time, employed position with Virtua Medical Group, located in South Jersey with easy access to Philadelphia, the New Jersey Shore, New York City, and Washington, DC.
Our breast surgeons and advanced practice providers maintain a 100% breast-focused practice , caring for patients with both benign and malignant breast conditions. The team provides comprehensive, patient-centered care while utilizing the latest clinical techniques, technology, and treatment options available.
About Our Breast Program:
  • Integrated within the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Cancer Program, offering access to a leading academic-affiliated oncology network
  • NAPBC-accredited program supported by a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team including radiology, pathology, plastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology
  • Comprehensive, patient-centered care model with close collaboration among nurse navigators, genetic counselors, research coordinators, social workers, rehabilitation services (OT/PT), and home care teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
  • Shared breast surgery call with a two-week rotation among a team of dedicated breast surgeons
  • Strong clinical support structure including two advanced practice providers, a nurse coordinator, and a dedicated surgical scheduler
  • Well-established and robust referral network supporting consistent case volume and program growth

Compensation:
  • The starting salary for this position is: $125,000.00 (annually).
    The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
