Job Description

Bird Kultgen Ford is seeking Automotive Service Technicians who are Ford Certified or motivated to earn Ford certification. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong mechanical foundation who want consistent work, factory training, and long-term growth.

You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs while maintaining Ford factory standards and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay

$25 - $45 per flat rate hour

Relocation Incentive

For qualified candidates relocating more than 50 miles to Waco, TX, we offer up to $1,500 per month for 3 months to assist with rent and utilities during your transition.

Work Requirements

Ability to commute to or relocate to Waco, TX required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs as outlined on repair orders

  • Diagnose vehicle concerns using factory diagnostic tools and road testing

  • Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems

  • Complete warranty repairs according to Ford manufacturer standards

  • Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly with Service Advisors

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred

  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

  • Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Team-oriented mindset

  • Commitment to continued training and certification

  • Valid driver’s license required
