Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct visible patrols by bike, monitor assigned areas, report security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Bring integrity, reliability, and a team-first mindset to a caring, innovative company.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Able to ride a bike.
  • Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
