Job Summary:
In this role as a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift at Norma Precision Inc, you will be responsible for operating machines, packing ammunition, and conducting quality inspections. Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality assurance are crucial aspects of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure machines are clear of debris and raw materials are loaded correctly.
- Start and monitor machines to ensure smooth operation and quality standards are met.
- Address any malfunctions or jams in machinery promptly.
- Conduct quality inspections on the first run of products.
- Clean and maintain machines according to guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following regulations and procedures.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
- Perform Operator Level Quality Assurance checks on parts produced.
- Pack ammunition into appropriate packaging for distribution.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent eyesight for close inspection work.
- Knowledge of firearms and ammunition is preferred.
- Technical aptitude to troubleshoot various types of machinery.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively.
- Comfortable working under pressure and adhering to safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
