Enfolding Arms Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team, providing exceptional mental health care and substance abuse services to our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' mental health and substance abuse needs, gathering background information and utilizing appropriate screening tools.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans grounded in assessment findings, ensuring that plans are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Document clinical notes and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team that may include social workers, psychiatrists, and wellness coaches to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
  • Engage in regular case reviews and treatment planning meetings to discuss client progress and revise treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Respond to crises as they arise by providing immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing significant distress or emergency situations.
  • Stay updated with current best practices, research, and trends in mental health and substance abuse treatment to deliver effective services to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing various mental health disorders, substance use issues, and co-occurring conditions. You will facilitate sessions with clients from different backgrounds and demographics, providing culturally competent care that respects each person’s unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid licensure as a mental health counselor in New York State is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
