About the Role:

As an EMT Basic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer basic life support, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals. You will be expected to respond quickly and efficiently to calls, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and compassion. This position requires you to work collaboratively with paramedics, nurses, and doctors to deliver optimal patient care. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the health outcomes of individuals in critical situations, making your role vital to the community's emergency response system.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current EMT Basic certification from a recognized training program.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an emergency medical provider.
  • Additional certifications such as ICS100, ICS700, and Mandated Reporter.
  • AVOC/EVOC - within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments to determine the nature and level or care required for positive patient outcome.
  • Administer basic life support techniques, including CPR and first aid.
  • Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their condition.
