Position Summary
The School of Communication, Journalism, and Media seeks an instructor to teach three on-campus advertising courses and one public relations course for the Fall 2026 semester to cover faculty leaves. This is only a one-semester appointment. The Lecturer must teach courses in person in campus classrooms.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising or related field.
  • Previous professional experience in advertising account management.
  • Basic knowledge of the public relations area.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in advertising or related field.
  • Previous teaching in higher education.
