RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibility is the management of Pharmacy orders.
  • Communicate with nursing facilities for order clarification.
  • Triaging of pharmacy orders.
  • Retrieving prescriptions from Physicians.
  • Track daily admissions and ensure all medications are dispensed daily.
  • Enter pharmacy orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure that patient allergies, therapies, and current medications are updated regularly in patient profile history.
  • File and maintain delivery manifest.
  • Answer Pharmacy phones and assist customers.
  • Provide support for other pharmacy associates as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year experience as a Data Entry Technician preferred.
  • PTCB Certification preferred.
  • Computer proficient.
  • High school diploma or GED.
