What You’ll Do

  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Greet clients, build rapport, and process transactions with a high level of care and professionalism.
  • Build Relationships: Get to know clients, understand their financial needs, and provide personalized service.
  • Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash and check transactions and maintain a balanced drawer.
  • Drive Growth: Open and maintain accounts, assist with loan applications, and help clients navigate financial products like Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Money Market Accounts.
  • Recommend Solutions: Understand client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Support Sales Goals: Refer clients to the appropriate banking professionals and assist in branch production goals.
  • Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve account concerns, transaction discrepancies, and client inquiries with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Minimize Risk: Identify and prevent fraud while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
  • Stay Informed: Keep current on financial products, procedures, and regulatory changes to best serve customers.
  • Educate & Protect: Clearly explain security measures, banking procedures, and product benefits to clients.
  • Solve Problems: Address customer concerns with patience, professionalism, and effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous teller and/or sales experience is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills, including active listening and clear communication.
  • Experience recommending and referring financial products.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection.
  • Experience accurately balancing a cash drawer.
  • Proficiency with computers, data entry, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Basic math and accounting skills.
