We are looking for a Trust Reconciliations Specialist to prepare accurate, timely, and complete journal information for the recording of reconciling entries to the appropriate accounts. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy and have a keen eye for detail. You will report to the reconciliation manager. An understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
The company will rely on you to provide accurate, up-to-date data that is easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts manually and automated matching for a high volume of transactions
  • Completes daily and monthly reconciliations, along with research and follow-through of unreconciled items, for assigned accounts
  • Analyze and record all appropriate debit and credit adjustments
  • Demonstrates an understanding of bank statement activity (e.g., deposits, checks, chargeback, in-transit items)
  • Navigate through Artiva to gather/observe ledger information
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Trust Reconciliations Specialist
  • Fast typing skills: Knowledge of ARTIVA is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • High school degree or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time, in-office position
Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly
