About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established financial services organization seeking a Financial Administrative Assistant to join its growing operations team. This role supports various aspects of foreclosure administration, reporting, compliance review, and operational support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
The Financial Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the foreclosure department by coordinating documentation, reviewing reports, reconciling financial information, assisting with compliance reviews, and ensuring deadlines are met throughout the foreclosure process. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the administration and tracking of accounts throughout various stages of the foreclosure process
  • Review reports, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, attorneys, and internal departments regarding account status updates
  • Reconcile incoming funds and verify proper application of payments and transactions
  • Prepare calculations, figures, and supporting documentation using Excel and internal systems
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records
  • Conduct research and compile reports to support operational and compliance needs
  • Review files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Identify discrepancies, document findings, and assist with corrective actions
  • Maintain organized electronic records and ensure documentation is updated and compliant
  • Manage a high volume of work while meeting established productivity and quality standards

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous administrative, mortgage servicing, foreclosure, banking, financial services, accounting, or compliance experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
