The Transportation Association of Greenwich, Inc. (TAG) is seeking a dependable and compassionate CDL Driver to join our team. This position provides transportation services to members of the community and plays an important role in helping individuals safely access the services and destinations they need.

At TAG, our mission goes beyond transportation. During times of crisis, TAG steps up to support the community. Our team has helped evacuate residents from senior living communities during flooding, transported elderly neighbors to cooling centers during dangerous heat waves, and helped ensure healthcare workers can reach patients during severe winter weather.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles as needed.
  • Follow established routes, schedules, and transportation procedures.
  • Conduct appropriate vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers and community members.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist TAG with transportation support during community emergencies and severe weather events when needed.
  • Maintain accurate transportation and passenger records as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Passenger (P) endorsement required.
  • Safe driving history and commitment to passenger safety.
  • Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
