Auto Damage Appraiser / Estimator
Columbia Auto Body
Columbia Auto Body is seeking an experienced Auto Damage Appraiser / Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, writing repair estimates, ordering parts, and working directly with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.
We are a fast-paced collision repair facility serving insurance partners, retail customers, dealerships, and fleet accounts, so strong communication and organization skills are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage
  • Write accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE
  • Order and track parts needed for repairs
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and supplements
  • Assist customers through the repair and insurance process
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and production staff
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and fleet accounts
  • Manage supplements and ensure proper documentation for repairs
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ year experience as an auto damage appraiser or estimator
  • Experience using CCC ONE required
  • Experience in a fast-paced collision repair shop
  • Massachusetts Auto Damage Appraiser License preferred
