Overview:

Job Title: Audio Visual Engineer

Security Clearance: Secret

Location: Tampa, FL

(Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.)

Description:

C3EL is seeking a cleared Audio Visual Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will support the Audiovisual Engineering team by providing design packages, reviewing construction drawings for new MILCONS, developing material equipment lists, and interfacing daily with the Project Managers.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Engage with customer stakeholders to collect and validate requirements
  • Perform site surveys to collect system architecture information
  • Conduct end-to-end technical planning and design for AV/VTC solutions
  • Assist the AV/VTC Install and Maintenance Team to fully commission and maintain installed systems
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to configure and troubleshoot Voice and VTC networks
  • Create system design description documents and system architecture line drawings
  • Maintain system design revisions and final as-built drawings
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies
  • Plan and execute deployment, configuration, testing and customer training
  • Provide project level of effort, schedules, and project criteria for overall system design
  • Provide detailed Master Equipment List to meet project design requirements
  • Provide industry best-practice sustainment methods for multi-vendor platforms
  • Provide documentation of standardized procedures, methods, and configurations
  • Provide systems engineering and body of evidence documentation to support ATO requirements
  • Conduct DoD Approved Product list verifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
  • 6 years' experience with Department of Defense (DoD) AV/VTC systems including but not limited to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS
  • Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently or with a team in dynamic environment; prioritize tasks; and keep abreast of the latest technology
  • Ability to use MS Visio
  • Ability to use MS Office Applications
  • Crestron DM experience
  • Extron XTP and FOX Matrix switch experience
  • Cisco WebEx Codec setup experience
  • Clearone/BiAmp DSP experience
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CTS Designer (CTS-D) certification
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Direct View LED videowall design experience
  • Crestron CTI certifications
  • Solid works or other 3-D modeling software
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
