Audio Visual Technician | Horseshoe Bay Resort
Location: Horseshoe Bay, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking an Audio Visual Technician responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment for meetings and events. This role ensures all audio-visual components function effectively and supports guests and clients with technical needs in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up audio-visual equipment in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event requirements
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot AV issues during events
  • Inspect and test equipment prior to events to ensure proper functionality
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and organization of AV equipment and storage areas
  • Break down and store equipment after events, ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate with Catering, Banquets, and other departments to support event execution

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in audio-visual support, live events, or related field required
  • Working knowledge of sound systems, projectors, lighting, and AV equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to technical issues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
