Job description

Company Description

Publicis is an omni-channel communications agency with over 600 employees across our Canadian operations. The office is the largest in our industry in Canada and boasts talent across various disciplines of marketing and advertising expertise. Publicis carries a balanced split of Canadian, U.S. and Global clients for which we are Agency of Record.  Publicis supports a range of D&I actions through our Driving Change team as well as giving back to the community through a long-standing participation in the Out of the Cold Program. With a strong, active and familial culture, Pub United is the agency's social club, hosting events as wide reaching as Curling, Trivia Nights and more.

Overview

As a Senior Designer, you are a creative thinker and meticulous craftsperson who thrives in the fast-paced world of pharma advertising. From branded campaigns to DTC and HCP communications, you bring concepts to life through thoughtful, high-quality design.

You'll work closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, and other Designers, reporting into the ACD Art. Your role is to translate creative concepts into smart, well-crafted designs-across print, digital, and presentation-ready formats-with a strong focus on detail, brand alignment, and executional excellence.

Responsibilities

Bring creative concepts to life through best-in-class design, across both print and digital.

Own the development of net-new layouts and adapt designs across brand ecosystems.

Apply expert-level typography, layout, and visual design principles to all deliverables.

Prepare production-ready files for print and digital vendor hand-off.

Ensure brand consistency and alignment with regulatory requirements and creative brief.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to problem-solve and elevate design quality.

Stay sharp-proactively evolving your design skills and staying current on design trends.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high craft under tight timelines.

Qualifications

5+ years of agency experience with a strong portfolio showcasing pharma advertising.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

A deep appreciation for craft, detail, and design precision-your files are as beautiful as your creative.

Master of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Solid expertise in typography, color, layout, and visual composition.

Comfort designing within brand guidelines while knowing how to push boundaries when needed.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills-able to take direction and run with it.
