Salary: $30 - $35/hr

Now Hiring: Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Environmental Field Services

Superior Environmental Services is a leading environmental specialty contractor serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine. We specialize in asbestos abatement, mold and water damage remediation, lead paint removal, PCB handling, and hazardous materials management.

We are currently seeking an experienced and licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisor to lead field crews on abatement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, and a commitment to safety and quality on every job site.


Job Locations: Various job sites across MA, NH, RI, and ME

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of asbestos abatement projects
  • Supervise field technicians and ensure safe work practices at all times
  • Set up and monitor containment and negative air systems
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, and state-specific)
  • Complete and submit project documentation including job logs, air monitoring reports, and waste manifests
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and regulatory agencies as needed
  • Perform hands-on abatement work when necessary
  • Ensure worksite cleanliness, proper PPE use, and adherence to Superiors safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current Asbestos Supervisor License in MA, NH, RI, or ME (must have at least one; additional states preferred)
  • Prior supervisory experience in asbestos abatement required
  • Working knowledge of mold, lead, and hazardous material regulations a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work plans and project specifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Physically capable of lifting 5070+ lbs, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and wearing PPE
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus
