OUR CLIENT

This is a well established Architecture firm are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team. This firm work with a variety of projects including institutional, commercial, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, amongst others.
THE JOB
As an architectural technologist, you will work collaboratively to produce full sets of drawings and construction documents. Site visits, some CA and project coordination will also be a part of the role, as well as working with clients and project teams to deliver work in a timely manner.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
  • An Architectural Technologist that can prepare a full set drawings, ideally in both AutoCAD and Revit for the retail environment, with minimal supervision
  • 2 to 6 years of experience, with knowledge of relevant building code and experience with researching applicable zoning by-laws
  • Experience working on commercial projects is required (such as retail, office, mixed use, hospitality, etc.).
  • A portfolio (elevation, floor plans & section details) that demonstrates relevant experience either commercial, retail, public, community or similar work
  • Ability to step into a fast-paced environment; deal with internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward
  • Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to do site visits to collect vital information
  • Willing to work in a dynamic and busy environment,
  • Contract administration skills are an asset
