Position Overview
iP-Plus Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer 2 to support governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) initiatives across a large federal operational environment. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity governance platforms and ensuring system compliance with DoD security policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sustainment and enhancement of GRC platforms including RSA Archer.
  • Maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments supporting cybersecurity tools and applications.
  • Conduct configuration management, patching, and lifecycle maintenance for GRC infrastructure.
  • Analyze information assurance requirements and implement technical controls to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and technical procedures.
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with enterprise cybersecurity tools.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of system security issues.
  • Collaborate with system owners and security teams to improve cybersecurity governance processes.
  • Assist with system testing, validation, and security compliance assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant IT / cybersecurity experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level III certification requirements
  • Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 CND-IS certification requirements
  • Must be eligible for IT Level II access
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or 2019 Certification
  • RSA Archer Certified Administrator
Preferred Skills
