Full Time Aramark Housekeeping Jobs (NOW HIRING)

In this role, you'll keep academic and residential spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, and staff - combining hands-on cleaning, safety compliance, and equipment care with the customer service skills that open doors to advancement across Aramark's facilities services team.

This is year-round, full-time work performing academic and residential facilities cleaning at Lake Forest College - including daily cleaning and sanitizing, safe handling and disposal of trash, custodial equipment maintenance, and building security, all in accordance with OSHA and Aramark safety standards. 

Essential functions and responsibilitiesof the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirementsand business needs.

We currently have full-time, Monday through Friday openings, with shift options starting as early as 4:30 a.m.: 4:30 a.m.-1 p.m., 5 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 5:30 a.m.-2 p.m., or 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $15.50 to $15.50. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets

• • Previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
  • Adaptable to guests' needs

  This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
