About Bon Secours Southside Medical Center

  • Average Daily Encounters: 134
  • Some procedures required

  • Staffing model:
    • Physicians 7 on / 7 off schedule; APPs 5 on / 10 off schedule
  • The hospitalist team includes 6 full-time physicians, 6 full-time APPs, 2 full-time nocturnists
  • Three physicians, 3 APPs round at a time, overnight in-house nocturnist is responsible for admissions, codes, rapid responses, tele-nocturnist covers floor pages
