Description
Highland Hills Medical Center in Senatobia is expanding the Radiology Department and is adding a full-time Radiology Technician with CT and X-ray skills. This Rad Tech will work day shifts, on a rotating shift of 3-on, 2-off, including weekend work every couple of weeks. There also will be some holiday work involved. The full-time position offers hospital benefits. 

Job Summary:  Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CAT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols.  Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.  Participates in CQI activities.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Associate degree is required. 
  • One year of radiologic/imaging experience. 
  • Prefer specific experience and training in CAT.
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current MS State Medical Radiation License and ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. 
  • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Proficiency with most major CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
