Job description

Overview
Our team is looking for a Software Engineer in Test.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: Liaise with product teams narrowing and defining requirements. Design and implement automated testing using industry best practices and standards. Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Take full ownership by consistently writing production-ready high quality automation tests. Perform code reviews of peers to ensure best practices are followed and functional requirements are met. Work in an agile scrum environment, collaborating with product teams in backlog refinements, reviewing acceptance criteria and assessing the required efforts. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise. Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing. Work at the highest level of all phases of software engineering and/or all phases of applications systems analysis with minimal direction or oversight. Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 24 months of experience as Software Developer, Programmer/Analyst, or a similar position, and 24 months experience in: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Junit, Rest Assured, Backend Testing using POSTMAN, Postgres, MongoDB, and Kafka. 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
