Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time Antenna Repair Technician (Engineering Technician II) in National City, California.
Summary: Under supervision perform hardware replacement, fiberglass repair, and preservation work (equipment will be depopulated/electronics removed prior to repairs) on ships antenna/radar equipment radomes, enclosures, and accessories, to include providing shipboard technical assistance as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities: .
  • Removes existing paint & primer coats utilizing approved solvents, power and pneumatic tools
  • Makes repairs to surfaces (cracks, chips, holes or other imperfections) utilizing fiberglass resins or other filler material as required
  • Chooses and mixes paints with reducers as necessary for application
  • Applies primer and/or paint to interior/exterior surfaces
  • Transports Antennas/Radomes to & from NAVSTA as required
  • Uses power tools
  • Supports other areas of the Offsite Product Family facility

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Familiar with painting apparatus - HVLP spray guns operation, setup and maintenance
  • Knowledge of basic hand power and pneumatic tools
  • Possess basic writing and communication skills
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DBIDS access

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $23.48- $26.26 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (over 50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a shipboard environment
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to work in varying work conditions including extreme climates
  • Ability to be medically certified to wear a respirator if required
