Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Central Fill Sorter, you will assist with the accurate and timely production of Pharmacy scripts. You'll monitor and work with automated sorting equipment to ensure Pharmacy prescriptions are sorted into the correct locations for final delivery to stores and ultimately our customers.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Use handheld devices to assign, activate and remove totes on an automated sorter system
  • Ensure orders are sorted into correct totes
  • Monitor production schedule and closeout dashboards
  • Notify Leads and System Specialists of delays
  • Close out totes by printing license plates, adding headers and staging
  • Clean and restocks work area
  • Perform Pharmacy Care Rep (PCR) and other duties as necessary

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a PCR or in a related field preferred

  • High school, vocational, or associate's degree


Licenses/Certifications:

  • May need certifications to operate MHE

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment that requires detailed work and precision under stress
  • Work extended hours; sit/stand for extended periods
  • Use arms / hands in repetitive motion requiring hand / finger dexterity
  • Regularly lift up to 40 lbs; occasionally lift 50 lbs
  • Push / pull weight pressure of 90 lbs
  • Work various rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays; remain flexible to business needs
  • Stay past scheduled shifts to complete daily production in the event of systems failure or production downtime, as required
