ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a PRN Board-Certified MD/DO Anesthesiologist with pediatric experience to join our fast-paced ASC. This role involves providing safe, efficient, punctual and high-quality general anesthesia for patients ages 18 months to 26 years, with a weight range of 10kg to BMI 40, undergoing dental restorative and oral surgery procedures. Experience with special needs patients is a plus.
The ideal candidate is an efficient, adaptable team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and can seamlessly transition between performing their own cases or medically directing an ACT in a 1:3 model. The position requires a demonstrated history of excellent clinical skills, particularly nasal intubations, and acumen in managing the unique challenges of young and special needs patients. Our facility abides by all guidelines and standards set forth by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Pediatric Anesthesia and Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with our facility leadership team (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Medical Director) to drive quality improvement initiatives and optimize patient safety and OR efficiency.
The position offers Monday-Friday scheduling with 7:00am OR start time. No overnights, weekends or holidays are scheduled.
BLS/ACLS/PALS required.
