Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced API Inspector certified in American Petroleum Institute (API) 510, 570 to support Quality Assurance, inspection, integrity management, and compliance programs for pressure vessels, piping systems.

The ideal candidate will lead field inspection activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide engineering-level recommendations to maintain safe and reliable asset operation in refinery, petrochemical, or industrial environments.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee inspections in accordance with API 510, API 570 standards
  • Evaluate pressure vessels, piping systems for fitness-for-service
  • Lead risk-based inspection (RBI) programs and integrity assessments
  • Review corrosion data, thickness measurements, and NDE reports
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, repair plans, and code compliance documentation
  • Interface with engineering, operations, and regulatory auditors
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and applicable OSHA/industry standards

Qualifications

Required experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of inspection experience in refinery, petrochemical, or LNG environments
  • Current API 510 Certification (Pressure Vessel Inspector)
  • Current API 570 Certification (Piping Inspector)
  • Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and metallurgical failure modes
  • Proficient in inspection documentation and reporting systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
