Job description
The Site Merchandising Specialist (1 Year Contract) owns the on-site customer experience end to end - from product onboarding and weekly homepage planning to landing page optimization, on-site search, navigation, and content updates. They obsess over merchandising, treating every optimization as a lever to drive conversion. Working closely with Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Product, and Operations, they'll make sure site merchandising and product data come together into a stronger site experience and help achieve GRND targets. Data is core to the role: they'll use it to tell stories, sharpen strategy, and support day-to-day tasks and weekly/monthly plans to drive performance.

Assist in the daily site merchandising for Knix.com and Knix.ca, with consideration of aesthetics, brand, and inventory availability to fuse the art and science of site merchandising.
Assist in developing weekly/monthly/quarterly merchandising plans to support product launches and continuously improve the customer experience.
Develop extensive post-mortems and provide actionable merchandising recommendations on campaigns/collections.
Execute plans for new product/colour launches, campaigns, promotions, and other site changes
Maintain product catalogue, ensuring product data is complete, accurate, and reflective of available inventory for the eCommerce site and in support of retail.
Support in upload and consistently of all site assets (images, copy, UGC) and maintained to available brand guidelines.
Daily merchandising of site in accordance with inventory levels obtained from partners in Operations and Product.
Monitor the site for daily errors to ensure site information is accurate and consistent, and track updates that need to be made.
Conduct QA testing prior to any new site content, products, or promotions going live, in collaboration with the Dev/eCommerce product team.
Use data to make recommendations for site improvements, build A/B test hypotheses, and execute tests.
Support optimization of catalog and merchandising including offboarding and onboarding of seasonal products
Constantly scan the competitive landscape for best-in-class site merchandising and bring recommendations to the team.
3+ years' merchandising experience in an eCommerce retail environment.
Professional working experience in Shopify is considered a strong asset.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics/web analytics and SEO.
Strong analytical skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or G Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
