Direct Hire - Full Time position in Melbourne, FL Position ID: 2749 An excellent position with a large defense technology company delivering innovative mission solutions * Lead Software Engineer * Please apply ONLY if you have an active TS/SCI clearance and strong AWS cloud development experience United States Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements We can ONLY consider your application if you have: 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering 2: 9+ years of relevant experience (7 with Master's, 13 with no degree) 3: Active TS/SCI clearance. 4: Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II Certification required, or ability to obtain within 80 days of hire 5: Experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications 6: Experience preparing comprehensive architectural designs 7: Able to work a 9/80 work schedule We are looking for an experienced and driven Lead Software Engineer/Cloud Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be available to work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. In this role, this person will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions built on Amazon Web Services (AWS). DESIRED (not required) SKILLS: :: On-site/field experience. :: Experience with IATT and ATO certification process. :: Experience with automating deployments and configuration of EC2 instances. :: Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments. :: Experience with configuration of Gitlab pipelines for automated deployment of cloud resources. :: Proficiency in designing, developing, configurating, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.
