Job Description
The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a hands-on HR resource for employees and managers, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, process improvement, training, and workforce development. This individual will help leaders navigate employee concerns, strengthen HR processes, and create consistency across teams.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with HR leadership and department management. This role is well suited for an HR professional who enjoys being involved in a variety of employee-facing initiatives and wants the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on HR programs and processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on day-to-day workplace and employee relations matters.
  • Coach managers through performance concerns, workplace challenges, employee conflicts, and accountability issues.
  • Listen to employee concerns, help resolve issues appropriately, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the process.
  • Build strong working relationships with employees and leadership while maintaining appropriate HR boundaries.
  • Identify training needs and assist with coordinating and delivering employee development programs.
  • Support the creation of career development opportunities, performance expectations, and employee growth initiatives.
  • Review, update, and create SOPs, policies, workflows, and other HR documentation.
  • Assess current HR processes and recommend changes that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Partner with department leaders to provide HR guidance and support around team and employee needs.
  • Assist with organizational changes, new initiatives, and implementation of updated HR practices.
  • Help ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated and applied consistently.
  • Promote a workplace culture centered around accountability, communication, professionalism, and employee support.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation related to employee relations, training, and HR processes.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and other employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team on projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting employees and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably with a strong emphasis on employee relations.
  • Experience supporting an employee population of 30+ employees in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and manager coaching.
  • Exposure to reviewing, creating, or improving SOPs, policies, and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when handling sensitive employee situations.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a highly collaborative, onsite environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Healthcare or healthcare technology experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
