Job description

Purpose and Scope:
Installation of aerial fiber optic communications. Scope of work include but are not limited to placing and tensioning metallic strand, installing of pole hardware, tensioning down guys, lashing copper and fiber optic cable, pole transfers, digging and setting telephone poles etc. Experienced climbers and operators preferred.

Responsibilities:
Understanding of aerial and underground construction needs.
Prepare work area for lineman to work.
Setup traffic control.
Keep work area clean.
Make sure vehicle is stocked with needed tools and material.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lb minimum.

Education and Training:
High School Diploma, 3 years of progressive knowledge in construction.ย 
Valid DL and reliable transportation.ย 
Atleast 21 years old.

Compensation: $22-25/hrย
