Franciscan Physician Network is seeking Diabetes and Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider to join our group at services at Franciscan Health Diabetes & Endocrinology Specialists located in Lafayette, Indiana. We provide a team-oriented, family-like culture that empowers you to focus on your passion for patient care. Teamwork, empathy, and a positive personality are essential traits for us. We have a full support staff that works to make your job easier and keep focus on your patients needs.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have past or present endocrinology experience, strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Flexible full-time schedule; no weekends or holidays
  • Clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
  • Average outpatient volume: 12-21 patients per day
  • Extensive resources including onsite Clinical Diabetes Educators
  • Potential outreach to surrounding locations
  • Common Diagnoses:
    • Type I Diabetes
    • Type II Diabetes
    • Insulin pumps
    • Continuous Glucose Monitoring
    • Primary Hyperparathyroidism
    • Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism
    • Hypogonadism
    • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
    • Pituitary-Adrenal Disorders

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree - Required
  • Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) Required - or
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
