Job description

WHO WE ARE:
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is looking for a Campaign Coordinator (Marketing Specialist II-III) who has a passion for outreach campaigns and creative media design, and values being part of a collaborative team. This position will require 5 days in the office at 101 E. 15th Street, Austin, TX in the Communications & Media department. 

TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas.
WHO YOU ARE: 
The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to develop creative content while working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. We are looking for someone who is curious, follows design trends, and is comfortable working with guidelines, but also confident introducing new ideas. Experience with accessibility is a plus.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 
The Campaign Coordinator (Marketing Specialist II-III) performs moderately complex to complex (journey-level) marketing work.  Works under general supervision, with limited to moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Collaborate with a creative team and help plan creative design for outreach campaigns.
-Introduce innovative design concepts to help engage with and promote services to Texans. 
-Use Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to design content that promotes TWC's campaigns, programs, services, and events.  
-Confidently engage with agency staff to ensure an efficient review/approval process of creative design concepts and deliverables against efficient timelines.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU QUALIFY WITH: 
-Marketing Specialist II: One year of full-time experience in positions involving such activities as advertising, marketing, branding, or performing related activities in a public or private enterprise.  One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Marketing Specialist I with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
-Marketing Specialist III:  Two years of full-time experience in positions involving such activities as advertising, marketing, branding, or performing related activities in a public or private enterprise.  One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Marketing Specialist II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
-Both Levels:  Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
