Job description

About Us: "Everyone Has a Story. We Want to Understand Yours."

At Elevate Counseling, we believe in holistic care, personal growth, and creating a stigma-free environment where both our clients and our clinicians can thrive. We are a fun, collaborative, and fast-growing group practice with beautiful office spaces in Westmont and downtown Chicago.

Our team of over 25 culturally diverse therapists is passionate about meeting clients where they are. We pride ourselves on a supportive work culture-in fact, our clinicians frequently highlight how much our leadership invests in the team's well-being and professional growth.

Because of our continued growth (providing over 2,000 sessions a month!), we are looking for a talented and compassionate Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Role: As a Psychologist at Elevate, you will have the autonomy to build a caseload that aligns with your clinical passions while being backed by a highly supportive administrative and clinical team.

  • Provide highly effective, evidence-based therapy to your ideal client populations (we serve Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, BIPOC, and the LGBTQ+ community).
  • OPTIONAL: Conduct Psychological Assessments: Expand our services by conducting psychological testing and evaluations (e.g., ADHD, neurodiversity, diagnostic clarification).
  • Utilize your specialties: Whether you specialize in trauma, anxiety, sports performance, or couples work, we will help tailor your caseload to your clinical strengths.
  • Collaborate & Consult: Participate in a warm, team-oriented environment where case consultation and peer support are highly encouraged.
  • Flexible Setup: Choose to work out of our Westmont office (Quail Ridge Dr), our Chicago office (W Jackson Blvd), or create a hybrid schedule that works for you.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois (or currently license-eligible).
  • The ability and desire to conduct psychological assessments (this is highly valued and a huge plus for our team!).
  • A culturally competent, trauma-informed approach to therapy.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a desire to be part of a "fun and growing" group practice.
  • Bonus points: Specialized training or certifications in modalities like EMDR, CBT, IFS, DBT or experience running intensives/support groups.

What Elevate Offers You:

  • Testing Resources: Support and infrastructure to help you successfully run and grow the assessment side of your practice.
  • A Steady Stream of Referrals: We handle the marketing, intake, and billing so you can focus strictly on client care and testing.
  • Supportive Leadership: A leadership team that genuinely cares about your mental health and guards against clinician burnout.
  • Flexibility & Autonomy: Flexible scheduling to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance, 401K, CEU Stipends, Paid Time Off and more
  • Beautiful Office Spaces: Modern, comfortable, and welcoming offices in both the Western Suburbs and downtown Chicago, plus robust telehealth infrastructure.

Ready to elevate your career with a practice that truly supports you? We would love to meet you!

Elevate Counseling is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and clients.
