Job Title:     Automotive Glass Technician / ADAS Calibration Specialist

Location:    Planet Ford Lincoln  - Spring, TX

Job Description:

Planet Ford Lincoln is a high-volume dealership seeking an experienced Automotive Glass Technician / ADAS Calibration Specialist to join our service team. This position will focus on in-house windshield replacement and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibrations to improve efficiency, reduce outsourcing costs, and deliver faster service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove and install automotive glass (windshields, back glass, door glass)
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations (lane departure, adaptive cruise, etc.)
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot ADAS-related issues
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and OEM standards
  • Maintain proper documentation for calibrations and repairs
  • Work closely with service advisors and technicians to prioritize workflow
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in automotive glass installation (preferred)
  • Experience with ADAS calibration equipment (preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a dealership environment
  • Familiarity with Ford vehicles and systems
  • Certifications in automotive glass or ADAS calibration
