The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center has vacancy for an evening Practical Nursing Instructor.

SUMMARY:The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center has a vacancy for a Full-Time Evening Practical Nursing Instructor at our Health Sciences Campus in Willow Street, PA. The PN Program is a post-secondary curriculum that prepares students for employment in hospitals, extended care facilities and various community settings. The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
Requirements:
  • BSN required, or in the process of earning a BSN
  • Experience in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
  • RN license in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum 2 years related nursing experience.
  • 3-5 years clinical experienced preferred.

Duties:
  • Provide theoretical and hands-on instruction to students in activities, and competencies, designed to promote social, intellectual and employment growth.
  • To assist students in gaining the competencies needed to satisfy PA State Board of Nursing requirements.
  • The Instructor will be responsible for providing classroom, lab and clinical instruction, assessment, as well as developing and conducting learning programs and associated materials for students with the ultimate goal of producing entry-skilled and employable students.
  • Serve on the faculty committee

Schedule:
Weekday evenings - Monday-Thursday. Classroom instructional days 1:50 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Clinical days are 4:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Salary*:
RN Only: $65,362 - $67,315; Bachelor's Degree: $73,172 - $76,641; Master's Degree: $83,467 - $86,936**
*Based on years of experience
**Additional compensation for additional credits beyond bachelor's and master's degrees
