Job description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Build complete WordPress websites using a predefined block and pattern system
  • Develop and structure pages including home, service, location, blog, and internal templates
  • Ensure full mobile responsiveness across all devices
  • Configure forms, tracking, and basic integrations as required
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices (structure, headings, metadata setup)
  • Optimize performance, including Core Web Vitals, caching, and compression
  • Maintain consistency with established design system, naming conventions, and build standards
  • Participate in development check-in meetings
  • Provide weekly progress updates to the internal team
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
  • Strong experience with the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg)
  • Experience working with component-based or pattern-based build systems
  • Strong understanding of layout, spacing, typography, and UX principles
  • Experience building websites for local service-based businesses is preferred
