*Applicants must posses a Secret Clearance for consideration* Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support mission-critical B-1B/B-52 flight software programs for a leading defense partner at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK . This engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and sustainment of software system and subsystem engineering models used throughout the full lifecycle of operational flight software. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse engineering team to build, enhance, and optimize software used to monitor and test aircraft systems. Work includes translating customer requirements, supporting system integration, and resolving software issues to ensure reliability, safety, and mission readiness. This role is fully onsite and requires and active secret clearance . Key Responsibilities * Software model development - Design, develop, test, and maintain system and subsystem engineering models. * Lifecycle engineering - Support full lifecycle development using JIRA for requirements, tracking, and workflow. * Requirements analysis - Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications. * Flight software development - Develop and deploy operational flight software for system monitoring and testing. * System integration - Enhance and optimize system and subsystem components for integration activities. * Debugging & troubleshooting - Serve as a technical resource for resolving software issues. * Compliance & standards - Ensure all software meets industry, customer, and safety standards. Required Experience * 5-7 Years of Experience * C programming and/or ADA proficiency. * Embedded software design experience (preferred). * Experience with JIRA. * Active Secret Clearance required to start.
