The ideal candidate has strong Angular experience and can translate approved designs into reusable, production-ready components. Experience designing complex healthcare workflows and understanding the needs of health plans, providers, administrators, and members is preferred. Experience working with EZ-CAP or similar healthcare claims and benefits administration platforms is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and requirements gathering through prototyping, testing, and implementation.

· Design intuitive workflows for healthcare operations, including claims, eligibility, authorizations, benefits, provider management, member services, and reporting.

· Translate business requirements and complex healthcare processes into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

· Create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

· Develop and maintain reusable components, design systems, style guides, and interaction standards.

· Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, healthcare subject-matter experts, and operational teams.

· Conduct user interviews, usability testing, workflow analysis, and design reviews.

· Convert approved designs into production-ready Angular components using TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design techniques.

· Develop and maintain reusable Angular components, modules, services, directives, pipes, routing, reactive forms, and design-system integrations.

· Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation and consistent user experiences.

· Review existing applications and recommend improvements to usability, accessibility, navigation, and visual consistency.

· Design solutions that support healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

· Use analytics and user feedback to continuously improve product experiences.

· Clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

· Three or more years of experience in UX/UI, product design, full-stack design, or a related role.

· Demonstrated experience designing enterprise applications with complex workflows and large data sets.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and responsive application design.

· Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, or similar platforms.

· Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive front-end development.

· Strong understanding of Angular architecture, component-based development, dependency injection, lifecycle hooks, routing, reactive forms, RxJS, and RESTful API integration.

· Experience implementing accessible, reusable user-interface components and translating Figma or other design specifications into Angular applications.

· Experience collaborating with engineering teams in Agile or Scrum environments.

· Strong understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and usability best practices.

· Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Professional experience within the healthcare, managed care, health insurance, payer, provider, or third-party administrator industry.

· Hands-on experience with EZ-CAP, particularly workflows related to claims, eligibility, authorizations, benefits, providers, members, or capitation.

· Understanding of healthcare operations, terminology, and data, including claims adjudication and member and provider administration.

· Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and data standards, such as HIPAA, EDI, HL7, or FHIR.

· Experience designing administrative portals, healthcare dashboards, claims systems, or care-management applications.

· Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, Bootstrap, NgRx, Nx, or similar Angular component, state-management, and workspace tools.

· Experience maintaining, upgrading, or modernizing enterprise Angular applications across major Angular versions.

· Familiarity with component libraries, version control, design tokens, and developer handoff processes.

· Experience working with APIs and translating back-end capabilities into effective user experiences.

Core Competencies

· User-centered and systems-oriented thinking

· Ability to simplify complex healthcare workflows

· Strong visual and interaction design skills

· Attention to detail and design consistency

· Cross-functional collaboration

· Angular component design and front-end implementation

· Accessibility awareness

· Effective communication and presentation

· Ability to balance user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
