Job description

Position: Frontend Full Stack Developer (Headless CMS)

Location: Remote (Contentful Experts)

Duration: Long term contract

Position Overview:

  • A Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer to support large-scale redesign and enhancement of customer-facing digital platforms for a leading gaming and hospitality organization.
  • This role is heavily frontend-driven, focused on building modern, high-performing websites for brands such as resort properties, dining, and guest experiences.
  • The environment is built on Next.js, React, and Contentful (headless CMS), following a recent migration from Sitecore.
  • The team is small and highly collaborative, requiring someone who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontend Development & Website Experience
  • Build and enhance responsive, high-quality web experiences using React.js and Next.js
  • Develop modern UI components using Tailwind CSS
  • Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR strategies to optimize performance and SEO
  • Partner closely with design and content teams to bring digital experiences to life (rooms, dining, guest experiences, etc.)
  • Headless CMS (Contentful)

Work within Contentful to:

  • Manage and structure content models
  • Integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) into frontend applications
  • Support ongoing enhancements post-Sitecore migration
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize content for scalability and usability
  • Application Enhancements & New Builds
  • Support ongoing redesign efforts across multiple branded websites
  • Build new digital features and experiences on existing platforms
  • Continuously improve site performance, usability, and accessibility
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work within a small, agile team (3 developers)
  • Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and technical discussions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in frontend or full stack web development (frontend-heavy)

Strong experience with:

  • React.js
  • Next.js
  • Experience working with a headless CMS (Contentful strongly preferred)
  • Strong experience building responsive, user-facing websites
  • Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks
  • Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL integration (consumption only — not building APIs)

Strong understanding of:

  • Web performance optimization
  • SEO best practices
  • Accessibility (WCAG)
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving Agile team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Contentful
  • Experience migrating from Sitecore or other CMS platforms
