Job description

Full Stack Lead Engineer – AI Platform (React, Node.js, GCP)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 Months

Important Notes:
* Early submissions will receive priority consideration.
* We are looking for a Full Stack Lead Engineer who doesn’t just write code, but thinks in systems, builds fast, and helps shape the future of both product and team.
* This isn’t just code - it is architecture, product thinking, challenging the status quo, problem framing, fast iteration, and building systems that scale with intelligence and intent. It’s about leading the charge in building something that actually matters.
Job Description:
* We are seeking a Full Stack Lead Engineer who is both a hands-on technologist and a systems thinker.
* The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with product intuition — capable of architecting scalable solutions, iterating rapidly on MVPs, and collaborating closely with product, design, and leadership teams to define the next generation of intelligent digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
* Lead full-stack development across the product lifecycle — from concept to deployment, focusing on both performance and scalability.
* Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management to define, prototype, and evolve the modular AI-driven platform.
* Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js or NestJS, integrating with AI services, APIs, and data workflows.
* Design complex frontend components using React, Tailwind CSS, and micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation, Nx).
* Build custom middleware to manage sessions, prompts, data flows, and user permissions between frontend and backend AI systems.
* Integrate third-party SaaS tools and automation agents through robust APIs and connectors.
* Drive engineering excellence and culture, fostering autonomy, ownership, and innovation within the team.
* Contribute to DevOps and infrastructure decisions related to GCP, scalability, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
* Prototype and iterate quickly, navigating ambiguity with creativity and problem-solving.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 8+ years of full-stack development experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior engineer role.
* Deep expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend tooling (Jest, Cypress, Nx).
* Strong proficiency in Node.js or NestJS for backend development.
* Proven experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or equivalent (AWS, Azure) — including deployments, infrastructure, and scaling.
* Experience with Micro-Frontends and modular architectures.
* Knowledge of middleware, API design, and AI or SaaS integrations.
* Familiarity with backend languages like Java or .NET is a plus.
* Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and end-to-end product delivery.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience building or integrating AI-driven platforms or chat interfaces.
* Background in DevOps/Cloud Architecture and CI/CD tooling.
* Prior work in a product company or startup environment with rapid iteration cycles.
* Demonstrated ownership of a customer-facing product from concept to launch
