The Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center focuses on creating advanced Windows-based application solutions for high-performance products. Our Test Solution tools and systems play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of complex systems, from engineering labs and field operations to production environments.

As a member of the Test Solutions team, you will engage in cutting-edge designs using the latest technologies, developing software solutions to integrate state-of-the-art engineering systems. You will have opportunities to contribute across all stages of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, tests, design verification, production, and sustainment.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
  • Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
