About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Application Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate is an experienced programmer who can design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications across multiple platforms. Youโ€™ll work on modern, scalable applications, leveraging containerization technologies and helping define and document integration APIs.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, Bash Script, TypeScript, and Node.js/Angular.

โ€ข Develop unit tests using Junit or similar testing frameworks.

โ€ข Create and manage Docker container-based applications for scalable deployment.

โ€ข Develop, implement, and document software integration APIs.

โ€ข Write readable, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Management, to deliver reliable software solutions.

โ€ข Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards and processes.

Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

โ€ข Proven experience developing applications in Java, Bash scripts, TypeScript, and Node.js/Angular.

โ€ข Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

โ€ข Experience with automating processes and tools to increase team efficiency.

โ€ข Experience developing and documenting RESTful APIs.

โ€ข Strong understanding of software design principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

โ€ข Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

โ€ข Flexibility and skills to work on back-end and front-end (user-facing) applications.

โ€ข Comfortable with iterative development and team feedback to arrive at the final product.

โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

โ€ข Knowledge of microservices architecture.

โ€ข Development experience on Linux operating systems.

โ€ข Linux administration skills preferred.

โ€ข Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
