Job Title: Full Stack Python Developer
Location: Austin, Texas
 
Mandatory Skills: Python + JavaScript + MongoDB
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team supporting our engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience in Python, complemented by frontend proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with MongoDB. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and business owners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with MongoDB and RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and weekly stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and Git for version control.
• Work in a Linux/Unix environment for development and deployment.
• Provide timely updates in JIRA and follow established Agile processes.
• Participate in whiteboarding sessions and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills:
• Backend: Strong hands-on experience with Python (5+ years)
• Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Angular, or similar frameworks preferred)
• Database: Experience with MongoDB and at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• DevOps & Tools: Docker, Git, REST APIs
• Environment: Comfortable working in Linux/Unix systems
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication
o Ability to work independently and in a team
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
o Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
