What is a full stack network associate?

A Full Stack Network Associate is an IT professional skilled in both the configuration and management of network infrastructure (such as routers, switches, and firewalls) and the development or maintenance of network-related software and interfaces. They bridge the gap between traditional networking and modern software deployment, often working with both hardware and network automation tools. Their responsibilities can include network design, troubleshooting, security implementation, and sometimes writing code to automate network tasks or integrate with cloud platforms. This role is valuable in organizations that require both solid network foundations and agile, software-driven network management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full stack network associate?

To thrive as a Full Stack Network Associate, you need a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and troubleshooting, typically backed by a relevant degree or certifications like CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, configuration management systems, and scripting languages such as Python is commonly required. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help professionals excel in this role. These skills ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of network infrastructure, which is critical for business continuity.

What are some common challenges full stack network associates face when supporting both front-end and back-end network systems?

Full Stack Network Associates often juggle responsibilities across multiple layers of network infrastructure, such as troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing network security, and configuring both hardware and software components. One common challenge is staying updated with diverse technologies, as the role may involve everything from configuring routers and switches to supporting cloud-based networking solutions. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams—like security, systems administration, and development—are essential to resolve issues swiftly and maintain network reliability. Adapting to rapidly evolving network protocols and security threats is also a key part of the job, making continuous learning critical for success.

Job description

Program Overview:
This comprehensive instructor-led program prepares early-career professionals for enterprise Java full-stack developer roles. The program builds foundational and practical skills across Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, React, Oracle Database, OpenShift, and CI/CD automation. The focus is hands-on and job-ready, equipping participants to contribute effectively to Java delivery teams from day one.
Program Structure:
Over 6 weeks, you'll attend virtual informative lectures, collaborate with team members, and take part in individual and team exercises. Evening homework will provide an opportunity to apply what you've learned and build on it. The goal? Offer a comprehensive learning experience that prepares you with the essential skills needed for a Full Stack Java Developer role. Following the 6 week bootcamp, you will move into an on-the-job training period of the program, where you will work side by side with Sr. and Lead Engineers who will mentor you and help to ramp you up to a fully autonomous contributing member of the team. Following a couple of months, barring your performance is up to par, you will then be presented with a full time permanent position with the client.
Opportunity within a Fortune 500 Company:
This bootcamp will lead you to a role working at a TEKsystems Financial customer. This is a Fortune 500 Company recognized nationally and regionally for their accomplishments and success as a diversified financial services company that reflects the needs, values, and aspirations of their customers, employees, and communities. You'll have the opportunity to engage in challenging work while benefitting from collaboration, networking opportunities, and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Bootcamp Synopsis:
This six-week immersive program prepares participants for enterprise Java full-stack development. The program builds foundational and practical skills across Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Angular, Oracle Database, OpenShift, and CI/CD automation. The focus is hands-on and job-ready, equipping participants to contribute effectively to Java delivery teams from day one. Throughout the program, learners progress from Java fundamentals and object-oriented design through enterprise backend development with Spring Boot, event-driven architecture with Kafka, resilience patterns, full-stack integration with Angular and Oracle, and cloud-native delivery using containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Automated testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium, CI/CD with Bitbucket Pipelines and Code Insights, infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform, and security testing are integrated throughout to reflect real enterprise delivery pipelines. Professional skills are woven throughout, including technical communication, stakeholder collaboration, pair programming, feedback practices, and developer accountability.
The bootcamp culminates in a team-based capstone project where participants design, build, secure, automate, and deploy a full-stack Java application using the complete enterprise toolchain. Rather than a standalone AI module, this program integrates AI as a continuous thread through all phases. Each phase includes dedicated AI segments on (a) AI best practices and governance security, (b) AI's impact on each domain, and (c) agentic tools in use - integrated into the curriculum without displacing core content.
